How we all doing? Summer hols be just around the corner - and you know that gain time is being eaten into by now 😉

@Gwenelope @bennewmark Did four annual ski trips on the bounce. Loved them, but my god they were exhausting!

@bennewmark I went on a school ski trip once. Thankfully it was in an Easter holiday. I slept for 18 hours straight when I got home….got up to eat, watch a bit of TV, went back to bed & slept some more…

Also: those that do it do it gratis almost all the time. It's often a weekend or holiday. and even if not it's evenings and nights. And they don't get paid any more at all for those hours. There's no toil. Typically next day, they're back in.

Also an amazing mother and member of such a strong and loving family. This shook our family and still hard to comprehend.

@scotchbrum You’ll find you can manage well on much less - because you’re doing less ‘comfort spending’ than as a teacher.
