Owning land is not based on political position in America. Renting land, homes, apartments to people is not political but a way to use the land. If I buy something and offer to rent it out to you, because you might have use for it while I do not, then you benefit from the labor I had put in to obtain that something while paying me a much smaller amount for the use. Are there bad landlords? Yes. Are there bad renters? Yes. Are there people who think they have a right to something someone else worked for? Clearly because there are various flavors of Marxists in the world and other thieves.

@mcsquared34 Actually, I would call it a symbiotic relationship. The host and guest both gain something. The renter gains a roof over their head while the owner gains money to fund maintenance, taxes, repairs, and sure: other things. There is nothing immoral about this.
