Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion was a historic and unique event. It was the only full concert performed by the band’s surviving members following their breakup in 1980.
It all began as a tribute to Ahmet Ertegun, the legendary founder of Atlantic Records, who passed away in 2006 and played a pivotal role in Led Zeppelin’s career. The three surviving members—Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones—decided to reunite for a one-off concert on December 10, 2007, at London’s O2 Arena, accompanied by Jason Bonham, son of legendary drummer John Bonham, who had died in 1980 and led to the band’s breakup.
That night marked Led Zeppelin’s first (and so far only) full concert since their breakup. After brief and unsuccessful attempts in the 1980s, Jimmy Page wanted to do something big: a show lasting over two hours featuring their entire classic repertoire. The demand for tickets was historic: around 20,000 tickets went on sale, but more than 20 million people from around the world tried to buy them online, breaking a Guinness World Record.
The concert was a resounding success. The band sounded powerful, tight, and full of emotion. They played classics like “Good Times Bad Times,” “Ramble On,” “Black Dog,” “Kashmir,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and, for the encore, “Stairway to Heaven” and “Rock and Roll.” Jason Bonham lived up to his father’s legacy, and the chemistry between the four felt intact. Critics and fans alike agreed that it was a magical and emotional night.
After the show, many hoped it would turn into a world tour. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham were up for it, but Robert Plant decided not to continue. He preferred to pursue his solo career and didn’t want to permanently return to the past.
Tori Amos tells us about the political allegory of her new album, the lessons she learned early in her career, and why she skipped Lilith Fair in the Nineties.

The Rolling Stone Review — Tori Amos' 'In Times of Dragons'
"Throughout, Amos grapples with her legacy through the relationship her heroine has with her long-lost daughter, who’s portrayed on cuts like the conflicted 'Veins,' the mournful 'Strawberry Moon,' and the gently buoyant 'Stronger Together.'"

Taylor Swift & Mick Jagger performing "I Can't Get No Satisfaction."
It doesn't matter who you are, even you are the biggest pop star in the world, when Mick Jagger enters the stage, it's his show…
The Velvet Underground & Nico
