Just been playing a few games of co-op rivals with my mate and tbh the more I play i think EA are not the problrm
You guys are the problem
People who play the game, the community etc
The game is not fun to play because of it is how it's played
We just won 3 games in a row and not one of the people we played against even tried to enjoy themselves and therefor it was boring
I'm more and more believing gameplay is fine but the people who play it are not

@FUT_Accountant You should tell Nepenthez, somehow after playing for 10000+ hours he didn't know and lost coins when the Serie A came out.

@phil8698 @MattHDGamer Nah. They release overpriced SBCs with often useless playstyles. This year in terms of grindable fodder I can do on average only 10-15% of player SBCs and most of them are either garbage or "EVO potential'.

@MattHDGamer Thats what happens when you release players every single day. Back in FIFA 17 those were special. I remember player sbcs like Kante, Barry, Son, David Luiz and so many more. I could not even name you 3 players sbcs this year because they just don't feel special anymore.

With all of the talk about the state of FC 26, one thing that I've realised this year is player SBC's aren't the same..
Anyone else feel like they've become a forgotten part of Ultimate Team?
The only standout player I can think of that's near my main team is Sophia Wilson. We used to get amazing flashback cards like Neymar, CR7 etc.

@TradingEi Not really, sometimes I go 4-0 and just stop playing because compared to other game modes it has garbage gameplay.

@a_dio9 @AlexionIQ People respond to incentives. If you design a game in a way that action A is 90% effective in achieving a goal and action B is 5% effective you can't blame players for choosing action A.

@a_dio9 @AlexionIQ But if the game feels repetitive how is it not the gameplay issue? Devs should have addressed this months ago. It's Devs' fault headers or crosses don't work, attacking AI doesn't exist etc.

@AlexionIQ Fatigue.
Very game feels like I have to die on a Hill and people are just playing only meta stuff. Spamming L1, Triangle through balls with the striker, only using cms or cdms to defend. The best counter for it was green time finishes but there are gone 🤷🏾♂️

@InceptionXx I had decent gameplay in champs today but when I truly work for 2 goal lead, hit the post 1v1 against the keeper and then for my AI to give away penalty and concede a kick off goal right after that I have 0 motivation to play anymore.

@ivanlapanje 9) Pack weight is garbage. All grindable content has garbage rewards and SBCs are insanely overpriced.
10) Tiny women are better ingame than the best legendary footballers of all time. (for true casuals this is maybe the most or 2nd most important issue imo).

7) Broken Matchmaking.
8) Pay to win, a textbook definition. You can’t grind best rewards over time, you can’t win them by skill either.

@ivanlapanje 5) Game breaking bugs: crashes, disconnects, turned off celebrations - still see them 30% time, solo matchmaking only and face duos, menu clipping sound in headset, cant enter team management, controller randomly stops working once the match starts, hackers

@ivanlapanje 4) All of this creates “button bloat”, simple pass doesn’t work, you need 2-3 passing playstyles to make simple pass, ideally holding 2 buttons/double tapping one of them. Defense? Hold several buttons for 5-10 seconds and spam another button to maybe tackle.

3) Non-existent attacking AI, players barely move except a handful of formations & roles, no unique teammate movement based on your actions (teammates often collide), that’s why theres player lock and trigger runs

@ivanlapanje 1) Unrewarding gameplay and stupid mechanics: kick off glitch, broken through balls and bruiser spam, limited ways of scoring, GK movement, offside trap/team press spam, player lock, trigger runs, most formations/roles don’t work rebounds, hitting post in clear chances

@JasonTSco "you dont have to do all the content" would be barely okay argument if I couldnt grind lets say 20-30% of all SBCs, not 80-90%. There are 21 player/Icon SBCs atm, I did 2 and will finish 3rd after very long time. In terms of coins its 732,2k out of almost 5 million.

The game just isnt sustainable to 'keep up' with the content, by that I mean
- The price of SBCs needing an outrageous amount of players to complete, with no realistic way of obtaining them
- All of the good evos being 100K+
- Objectives needing you to play 12 games to complete
- Rivals/Champs rewards were not (they improved a bit) not good enough
So basically you cant "grind" the game to keep up with it, which pushes you to store packs/spend money
I know you dont have to do all the content, but im not even talking about "all" of it. For example the Serie A TOTS packs needed 3 squads (2x87 and 1x88), like after doing that its hard to do anything else
This is just one reason, I wont even talk about gameplay/gameplay objectives etc
The game just feels like a massive chore right now, and its not motivating to play, so you stop/slow down and the motivation just keeps dropping

@connFUT I saved high rated fodder for 4 weeks, still haven't finished Son, some 3 squads to go. I would love to do any other SBC but when I get maybe one 87 rare gold from upgraded rivals (division 3) it's impossible to do any of these 1 week SBCs. Don't care anymore.
