I can understand why people feel this. Instagram is full of videos of people at the protest, people being beaten up, often at time unprovoked. On Twitter, you can waffle anything and confirmation bias takes care of the rest. When you’re confronted with scenes that contradict your beliefs and virtues, it feels uncomfortable, or in this case manipulation.
