Last History Club field trip of the year to the Pacific War Museum. What a great year for this club. Record number of membership, fundraising, museums, community service, and also responsible for Clemens' Schertz historic Landmark designation.

At last night's Schertz Historical Preservation Society meeting, Samuel Clemens High School was approved for Historical Landmark status. Next, the Schertz City Council will need to vote to secure Clemens' Historical status in the community.
