1/ For clarification in case anyone sees this, we used to be one of the most popular services on Twitter way back in 2008/9, where we were the first to use a mix of social signals and textual semantics to drive recommendations before it was cool.

6/ Anyhow, it is fun writing this mini-tweetstorm for reminiscence sake. Having been in Twitter since super long ago, I do have a bunch of thoughts around the evolution of it all. If the new twitter overlords does not kill this account, will share more moving forward!
