Teachers deliver a holistic, Physical Literacy-informed curriculum, where pupils are valued and celebrated across all domains. The STEP principle is applied to adapt activities to meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring inclusion, engagement and success for all. (6/7)

PE in NI primaries needs reflection and change. The current curriculum encourages a holistic, cross subject approach, yet its narrow sport focus keeps PE sport-driven, not learner-driven - limiting how it meets all learners’ needs. Done differently, PE could offer so much more.
