@MrWilson I just sold a car that was in my & my late father’s name, fortunately he had signed the title before passing, but they still wanted the death certificate for other parts of the sale. A trip the to DMV would probably clear things up. Or call someone in sales at a dealership.

I have a car with a title exclusively in my late wife's name. Can I sell it directly (i.e. by attaching a copy of the death certificate to the bill of sale), or must I first go to the DMV to transfer the title to me? This is in #Nebraska.

@lpsorg FYI. This photo was taken earlier today by somebody not on this platform. The bus was stopped under and struck by the arm. A pickup behind the bus got out of the way so that the bus driver could back up to get off the tracks.

@tasteoflincoln That would be wonderful! He's talented with vehicles, and for various reasons he's thinking about making aircraft (rather than cars) his career. He's 17 (18 in April), graduated, and eager to get started.

@IMFletcher2 @JournalStarNews I *hate* that I'm canceling. I appreciate the local folks. They do great work! But Lee has trashed the joint. And a 66% increase? WTH?! They've got to give me _something_ to justify that. It's not like the cost of pixels exceeded the rate of inflation.

@MrWilson @JournalStarNews Good on ya. That's where I was with the printed version in 2017. Had subscribed since 1990 or so. Haven't missed it. They treat subscribers like garbage.

They've done it. @JournalStarNews broke me. I support local journalism. I have subscribed since I moved out of my parents' house. Today they sent this weird, soulless email. They want to jack up my rates by $10 (66%!). NOTHING they've done lately justifies the increase. I'm out.
