So many in #TeamRE and the wider #edutwitter community have been shocked to hear about Dawn’s accident.
A fund has been created to support her and her family at this time. It might be something you consider giving to or sharing.

Such a sad day, the passing of Dawn Cox has rocked so many people. Generous with her time & advice, a naughty sense of humour & a sharp intellect. She will be missed by so many. Holding Roy and her family both human & feline in my thoughts.@TeamRE_UK

Right now, leaders are expected to provide direction, guidance, and reassurance while acknowledging that the path ahead isn’t clear. Balancing this tension requires them to lead with humanity. s.hbr.org/2XJCEmE

@Rory_Gribbell I have yes - for a start, remove the single word sliding scale (this is just more work for leaders to show and prove what they already do) and give strengths/recommendations as a narrative. There’s still a very narrow view of what it means to ‘achieve’ running through.

@Mr_Betts Thanks very much for reaching out.
I hope you’ve contributed to the consultation, which has free text boxes to give views on how we report, how we inspect, what we inspect and more. I’m seeing a real range of views coming back, so definitely keen to hear more thoughts.

We really do want to hear the views of teachers, headteachers and everyone interested in our work.
And we do hope people will give us their own views!

Grateful to @NHSEngland who were very thorough looking into heart palpitations. Not the Sunday I was expectating and feeling a bit better now!

@paulusher_edu @FootballManager Premier manager, LMA manager, championship manager. Dagenham & Redbridge to the champions league my greatest achievement!

RIP @FootballManager. Been playing the original Championship Manager and Football Manager for 28 years. This feels like the end - the game has been getting more complicated and like a 2nd job for a while now. People loved the original simplicity of it.

@Strickomaster Huge example of perceived ‘failure demand’ - yet there must be genuine avenues for legitimate concerns complaint to be made.

A very important watch. Most schools seem to have a ‘no phones policy’ now but what else could or should we be doing? channel4.com/programmes/swi… @drchatterjeeuk

If we want to make teaching an appealing and long-lasting career choice, we can’t rely on financial incentives - it must be a job in which people can truly flourish, says @mrawolfe
