@pacersin6 @Pacers I would much prefer a player that didn’t hurt the team at all which is the problem. This whole team has revolved around maxing his minutes on a squad with two superior point guards and a young guard who is already better than him (and can actually shoot).

Day after reminder. Things are fine unless Zubac implodes. And that deal was months ago, nothing new happened to that yesterday. The Pacers added a borderline AS center on a great deal. They couldn't pay Math and he didn't love his bench role here. Picks are wild gambles.

@roosterbra812 Another season of TJ ball getting at best the 4th seed requiring Haliburton to work miracles in the playoffs to compensate for zero bench is not worth adding Zubac. Anyone from 5 to 10 could be a superstar in 3 years or sooner, at least one will be for sure.

The problem is that Pacers fans are looking at this like we lost Dybantsa or DP or Boozer or Wilson for Zubac. We didn’t. We gave up Wagler or Flemings or Burries or Acuff. Was it a lot? Yes. Will it pay off? It very well could. But at least the front office believes in the core.

Every time someone screws over ZERO it comes back to haunt them. Wanted to be a franchise player in Sacramento.. The Kings didn’t think he was good enough. Got called a fake wannabe All-Star by the media.. and then led the Pacers to their 1st ECF in over a decade. Got called a fluke by the league and was voted the most overrated player in the NBA by his own peers… followed it up with the most clutch run to the Finals in NBA history.
