@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV But the problem is Nigerians are not only selling to Ghanaian retailers in Nigeria but also selling to consumers in Ghana. That’s where the problem is, if not the Ghanaian people are peaceful people and wouldn’t care or bother you if your actions are not hurting them.

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV Yes I agree with you here, I need the Ghanaian trader to explain what he meant by inferior onions. Another reason why I am up in arms against the media for not asking the right questions Exactly if 70 truck are in Nigeria it means they are buying wholesale onions to Ghana

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV In Nigeria your trade law allows you Nigerian citizens and foreigners to trade both wholesale and retail but in Ghana it’s different cause we allow only foreigners to trade wholesale and Ghanaian citizens to trade retail. So all that have said what don’t you understand?

@Tenetley71 @Mr_GeorgeAddo @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV Now I get why you are allergic to comprehensio. Infrastructure is a whole system that enables trade. Clearly, Nigerians are bulk-selling their onions in Ghana. It is the Ghanaians who are complaining: More Nigerian trucks are arriving daily. They blocked them from offloading.

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV That’s why the onion traders prevented them from selling or offloading their onions. If the Nigerians don’t want to register with GIPC and follow or trade law they should completer the whole sale trade in Nigeria so Ghanaian retailers would transport the goods to Ghana

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV Wholesale means Nigerians are not to sell directly to consumers and should only sell to Ghanaian retail sellers in the onion trade. The problem is Nigerians are selling to everyone both Ghanaian retailers and Ghanaian consumers and it’s against the law.

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV So our question to our Ghanaian institutions is have these Nigerian traders register with GIPC and if not why didn’t we get a stop to this situation and now they are selling onions in Ghana. Secondly if they sell onions in Ghana then it must be wholesale

@YaKikhe @Tenetley71 @hafiz_zyzbawy @JoyNewsOnTV You don’t get the point. How can Nigeria come to Ghana and sell Onions meanwhile the law says that if they do that they must register with GIPC and follow the requirements there before they can bring their trucks and sell it in Ghana.
