This team exists to hurt us.

I am very upset by what's happened this season--and for the last three seasons--but Detroit's had a year-and-a-half of McLellan, they've had about two years' worth of actual prospects being a part of the solution, and there is more to give. I am sticking with the team, heartbroken and disappointed, but still believing in the long-term plan.

I’m openly in the minority here and while I appreciate these comments a great deal … I don’t think Todd McCllelan is a difference making head coach. To make a Lions reference he’s a Kelvin Sheppard to me. At some point doesn’t the fact that his structure is the easiest ever to prepare for & play against, and things that coaching directly impacts like what you want to do on zone entry, your defensive system, PP/PK, first period game plans, ect … trump that you’d run through a brick wall for him after hearing one of his press conferences? If he’s back fine but there’s still a lot of things he’s responsible for and he needs to be a hell of a lot better at as a coach.
