@69BigKanga In the muslim northwest and parts of the northeast how do reckon he wins Tinubu ? Even Jonathan with all the paraphernalia of govt lost there.

If this is the mindset, there’s no need for OBI to contest, cos if you think APC will hand you power “cos you won” then we’re all jokers. I’m tired of hearing reasons why Ndi-Igbo should cower or walk with fear and extreme caution. You either fight to the finish or collaborate with persons that have the stomach for it, even if it leads to a revolution.

This cannot be the major thing you took from his statement. It’s normal to want to protect OBI, but Kwankwaso is a ticking time bomb. He was simply saying it’s a bad idea for OBI to accept someone that sees himself bigger OBI, there is bound to be rancor and chaos. I hate that we’re making BAT look like a political genius, Kwansogbu wants leverage, after 2027 he will get it and do worse than Datti is doing now.
Obiasogu David@afrisagacity

Regrettably, Datti Baba-Ahmed sold himself to be used to lead the agenda against the Peter Obi vs Kwankwaso ticket. “Kwankwaso has a PhD, Obi has a degree.” Meanwhile, Yaradua had a degree, Jonathan had a PhD. Buhari had a WAEC cert, Osibanjo had a PhD, and was a Prof!✍️

Balarabe Musa, by my estimation was the legitimate student of Aminu Kano’s school of politics, he held on to the purist socialist leanings, Abubakar Rimi on the other hand was “flamboyant” and used NEPU/PRP umbrella to grab power. In addition Aminu Kano was perhaps the last “major” Nigerian politician that had a clear ideology (undiluted socialism not buts or ifs) pity he never won. Obi is clearly not socialist however he makes certain statements that are socialist leaning. (Consumption to production, structure of criminality, in a bid to galvanize support of local populace) Buhari as well wasn't socialist, he tried to model his approach like Aminu by being pro-Talakawas and parroting “Zero tolerance for corruption” In summary Nigeria needs core ideologies to rally around, without it we have no identity.

I’ll have to disagree especially cos he had “It’s POssible: Our Pact with Nigerians – Creating a New Nigeria” as his working document/Pact or manifesto. That document echoed slogans like from “consumption to production”. That’s an aside I’m very much interested in what mallam Bolaji said I’ll love to read what they have planned.

The truth is, Obi doesn’t appear to believe in outlining concrete, workable policies that his government would rely on if elected. Instead, he seems to think he can simply step into the presidency and make decisions offhand
Ugochukwu Evans@Mrbomboi

Can anyone from the ADC share the security framework as designed by them as well as it’s plan for fuel subsidy, since there is a document. @DokunOjomo @nuhuyohanna39 @royaltyuso Would also make sense if the NDC or Obi’s team has a document for the issues above and more @EstherUmoh10 Makes no sense waiting till campaign season for people to know what to dissect, these issues have the potential to tilt the conversion going forward from mundane discuss to practical stuff that affects lives.

I had a lecturer like this man during my time at Unilag. Coherent, funny chap when teaching, once the name Tinubu is mentioned he starts to blab and say all sorts of hogwash, sometimes he’d say so much rubbish that he’d have to pause to laugh. That’s exactly what this clown of a man is doing. Formal education can never replace common sense.
CHUKS 🍥@ChuksEricE

Interviewer: “Can you give me two reasons why I should vote for President Tinubu for a second tenure?” APC supporter: “How many states are APC states right now in Nigeria? That alone is a signal. If a party is controlling about 32 states, what does that mean? Those governors are rushing to join APC because Tinubu is doing well.”

I have said it repeatedly that leaving ADC wasn’t the right call. Kwankwaso is a selfish prick who wouldn’t do any heavy lifting, he definitively won’t secure the bulk of the votes in the northwest or northeast. All of what Peter described in this video could have been gotten under the coalition.

Not sure that statement was anchored on ridicule, my reading is that he thinks the APC will do everything possible to reduce votes in his stronghold. And it’s obvious serious rigging will take place in the south south like it happened Rivers in 2023. Voter suppression or INEC delivering materials late in the south east is almost sure. In the middle belt voter apathy might happen as some persons are sympathetic towards Tinubu. Getting new voters should be Top priority for Obi, but it will be useless if the issues above aren’t factored in and dealt with.
Agent Jake@Hitee_

Bolaji also made a statement and smiled , he insinuated that because PO had 6m votes in 2023 doesn’t guarantee that he’ll get it in 2027 Lmao, I don’t think they rated him

I don’t agree with most things Datti said about Obi, some contradictions here and there, however what stood out for me was the fact he echoed my point about Kwankwaso, he simply is an egoistic person who sees himself above Obi.

When does ANAP and other polling orgs conduct polls ? I’ll love to see the map for all 3 contenders. Even though they might not comprehensively account for local political idiosyncrasies.

I get that this is supposed to be damage control, And to also make sure the APC don’t use it to cause more damage. However I hope internally that, that show of shame & braggadocio by Kwankwaso is checked if not it’s bound to repeat itself on a much bigger stage and Obi will be torn between keeping face or reacting, any of the decisions won’t look well for his campaign. I repeat that Kwankwaso perceives Obi as beneath him. You can’t romance Tinubu weeks ago and suddenly want to Vice someone you’ve called “Andrew Liver salt”
Hydra@XBrianDennis

You won’t believe that the ruling party and the former opposition party are busy arguing about who collected cap from who 🤣🤣🤣🤣
