You absolutely can because it’s not his movie and you can easily get away with him just being one of the many characters in an expansive galaxy.
The LEGO Movie had a Star Wars cameo with Han, Chewie, C-3PO and Lando that gave them maybe like two minutes of screentime max.

at this point, I feel like they’re lying about the runtime for the galaxy movie because there’s no way you bring in FOX MCFUCKING MCCLOUD into a movie and then reduce him to potentially a 3-4 minute cameo like that 😭
