Before I start making them, does anyone have SLoP booklets for each of the topics in GSCE Physics? The ones I have gathered for Bio and Chem are 200 AO1 style questions, can't find anything similar for Phys though... @Hookean1 @ChatPhysics

We’re consulting on the continued use of formulae and equation sheets in 2025, 2026 and 2027.
This follows @educationgovuk’s decision that students don’t need to memorise formulae and equations for GCSE maths, physics and combined science.

@GauravDubay3 I would argue that operational stuff should go into a department bulletin sent out on Friday for the week ahead. Everything else is PCK where possible

@TottenhamTeach1 @researchEDMK @CreativeEdTrust @NLad84 Going to be an absolutely brilliant session!

Full on imposter syndrome as I'll be presenting @researchEDMK about faded scaffolding, confidence building and hitting the sweet spot! Based on Pearson & Gallagher 1983 research on gradual release of responsibility. Thank you @CreativeEdTrust @NLad84 for the opportunity.

@englishspecial Protect your meeting time with them. They deserve the 1 hour a week/fortnight they have with you and the mentor needs to be fully present not check your emails or being interrupted to do with something but focus on the mentee

While we still have some #edutwitter on here, let us collaborate!
What advice would you give to a first time mentor on what not to do with their trainee teacher?
(I'll ask what they should be doing tomorrow).

Primary colleagues - post GCSES you have examiner reports and data where you can see which questions students did really well and where they did not. Is there something similar for primary SATS? @NLad84 @waspsrich @BenRogersEdu
