I’m allergic to most types of metals, the skin on my right hand is literally disintegrating but will I start wearing minimalistic jewellery? Absolutely not. Death before daintiness.

Our lovely wee goat girl died peacefully today at the vets. Unfortunately she didn’t survive the anaesthesia and died before her surgery commenced 💔Julia was the best therapy goat in the world. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their support ❤️

@MrsB1505 Very detailed and informative, without being dry. I've read books about books/reading, and what I appreciate about this is the history of children's books as a genre; how it began and evolved. Great to get some background on the times the books were written.

A barrister with a pack of dogs was out hunting hares in my wild valley today. His companion stood on the skyline above me with a gun facing in my direction as I continually asked him to get his dogs off my land. They just ignored me. Imagine if it was the other way round.

1/2 Thinking about Jeremy Brett who would have been 91 today. I was working at Wyndhams when he and Ted Hardwicke were there in The Secret of Sherlock Holmes. We had them for a whole year! Jeremy used to come into the box office at 3pm every day, make us tea, smoke Silk Cut,
