Sometimes the best way to help students understand a rubric is to have them grade responses. 1. Type up anonymous student responses. 2. Students grade the responses. 3. Discuss scores. I have seen large increases in productivity after trying this. @MV_Knights #MVReEnergized

Claim-Evidence-Reasoning: a method used to strengthen our analysis of history/writing skills. We started with an annotated article & created/revised an essay. Today, we formed teams & debated the topic: should we celebrate Columbus Day? @MV_Knights @AshleyMN2014 #MVReEnergized
