My daughter's Y3 teacher is the absolute GOAT. She single-handedly crocheted a mini-me of each kid in her class as an end of year gift. Approx. 8hrs per doll. Even the hairstyles and clothes are spot on. What a legend.
My little girl admitted last week that there was a little toy she asked Santa for in secret that he didn't bring, and she was a little sad about it. But we were taking the tree down today and there it was! Santa must've just accidentally left it round the back. He's some man!
Is there anyway of collecting a VERY IMPORTANT 🎅🏼 PARCEL from the @anpost Dublin Parcel Hub, Dublin 12? It’s there since 21-12-23. Anyone have any suggestions? @deshocks
In a sea of dark and frightening news this Xmas here is the story of this pic: a miracle baby✨🎄❤️5 years ago John and I gripped hands as a neurosurgeon delivered bad news. As an afterthought he added “this will make it unsafe for you to carry a baby.” That was all I heard. 1/5
Paddy Kielty gets a 10/10 from me.
The discrete reference to Parnell Square without directly addressing it was well done.
He gave the kids space to be themselves, didn't rush them.
He had a four year old breaking her heart laughing at him right at the start.
@psychpolis I find this terrifying. The Gardai need to be better staff, equipped. He needed a helmet, he needed to be in s grouping of 3-4. This is terrible. I hope he is ok today. He wasn’t sure if he was going to live or die last night. @gardainfo
This is probably
A dad
A son
A brother
A husband
A colleague
A public servant defending this city against lawless feral thugs and who care nothing for this city

@drpaulitious@Thinkingschool2 Any what’s the value in the child doing maths homework if it’s never corrected? A genuine question as I had this scenario last year, when i raised it at PTM, teacher was equally baffled. We sat and looked at each other baffled.
Just got home from parents evening.
Natural expectation for teachers to work a normal day, then work the evening meeting 30 parents for 10 mins each and be back bright and bushy tailed for another full day in the morning . . .
@louisemcsharry My mother used to say your friends either bring you up or drag you down, I used to HATE it. I now see she was right, there is such a thing as positive peer pressure.
A group of very posh teenage girls from a nearby posh school just had some coffees at the table in front of me and when they were leaving they cleared their entire table including bringing their cups and glasses up to the counter and for some reason I found it very moving?
