This week, U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey (D-MA) introduced a resolution calling for living wages, good benefits, and fair working conditions for all ESP who serve as the backbone of our schools. CAESS President Stacey Tayman spoke to what it means for ESPs to be heard.

A Wells Fargo bank in Tennessee tried to make a woman wear a mask before they would do business with her. Even the police are called and they back up the bank. Many people on the right are outraged over this. I get it. People hate mask mandates, but this is a corporation serving clients. It’s not a government entity. If a business wants clients to wear a mask, isn’t that their right? If you don’t like it, you are free to take your business elsewhere or use the drive-through/online banking. This isn’t communism. If you think it is, you don’t understand what communism is. This is actually what freedom looks like. Freedom applies to corporations too. I understand why people are outraged but you can’t ask for freedom if you aren’t applying it equally.

also had new cleats this week instead of my 8th grade cleats which was, very nice and helpful, and now hopefully the black and blue bruises i’ve had on my toes for like, 5 weeks will go away lol

1 for 2 at the plate w/ 3 RBIs. grounder up the middle (pictured) 4 a single & a grounder for an out…w/ 2 of the RBIs! went for a double when i shouldnt -> out. highlight was actually my defense! fielded 3 grounders for outs at 1B (2 in 1 inning!) & robbed a line drive in left.
