Not surprised in the least! I have seen so many gains in 2-3rd grade using @UFLiteracy for Tier 3 intervention, I can only imagine what it would be like for Tier 1.

Wowza news in early literacy: Study shows major gains in K-1 reading outcomes from use of the viral, and virtually free, UFLI foundational skills program. In fact, I’ve never seen effect sizes this high from a study of a literacy program. Congrats @HollyLanePhD @burnsmk1 @UFLiteracy!

My daughter's math teacher has a rule that they only get one bathroom pass per week, AND, if they don't use it, they get academic extra credit. I am livid. But my daughter is mad that I want to email the teacher and CC the principal. Am I wrong here?

Teacher friends- As you are making those adorable bulletin boards-please consider the fonts you are using. Many of the cute “artsy” fonts or the incorrect cursive types are not helpful to the new readers or struggling readers. Accessibility should trump room decor!

It's election season and many people can't read the ballot. Teaching kids to read is patriotic and benefjts the republic in many ways. Literacy is a national security, mental health, and econonic issue that's common sense and 'should' be nonpartisan.
