The year 5s @HLC_Primary have enjoyed their first ukulele lesson. We have learned the names for the parts of the instrument and can already play three chords.

Year 6 have had a fantastic day at Crucial Crew. On a very hot day our children have shown off @HLC_Primary at its absolute best. Polite, hardworking and great at asking important questions. What a day!

A successful morning with our @HLC_Primary debate team. The children researched and wrote their own speeches opposing the banning of plastic bags. They were professional and spoke passionately. We are all so proud of them.

Year 6 @HLC_Primary have shown off their sewing skills this half term by creating their own witch's slipper. They have been inspiring with their ideas and demonstrated great skill. As you can see the finished products are spectacular!

@HLC_Primary Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed attending the RE debates competition today. They had researched their topic in depth and worked hard to create persuasive speeches that they delivered with passion. They represented our school brilliantly and came away with a victory.

6c @HLC_Primary were so proud of their pointillism work this week. So many beautiful pieces of the Amazon rainforest.

@HLC_Primary The primary choir are singing at Tesco, the Wrekin Retail park, tomorrow at 10.30am. Come along to support us and have a Christmas sing-a-long. 🌲

Fantastic colour theory from @HLC_Primary 6c in Art today. We created our own colour wheels and learnt about complementary colours. I cannot wait to get started on our pointillism pieces!

@Lynsey246810 @HLC_Primary Yes! We used one of their food technology rooms to cook.

@HLC_Primary Year 6 put their culinary skills to the test today. They created recipes and made food using war time rations and vegetables that would have been grown in an allotment. They all did a superb job.

6c enjoyed eating their war time meals this afternoon. No photos of the apple crumble. They'd all eaten it before I had chance to grab the camera! @HLC_Primary
