This afternoon our leadership team inquired into the PYP. We explored the attributes of the learner profile and dipped our toes into the written curriculum, starting with the knowledge within the transdisciplinary themes. So many questions!

8 September - International Literacy Day. Representing ALEA ACT, myself and a team of dedicated literacy professionals visited hospitals across Canberra to deliver books to babies & new mums and dads to promote reading from birth. Parents were grateful! #nevertooyoungtoread

Student question: how do you make paint? This wondering was a lovely lead into how our traditional land owners made ochre using a grinding stone. We found out it’s hard work and takes time to grind ochre, next week we will create paintings with our paint. Thanks to TF @ ZF.
