THREAD 1) I found it curious that 40% of the marks on the 2019 AQA GCSE maths foundation paper (non-calculator) were so comparable to questions on the Year 6 maths SATs paper (left column vs. right). It got me thinking…

Here are my notes from reading the 115 page document 'The Reading Framework' from the DfE. Please do read the original document yourself, but these may be useful as a quick reference guide (just my own interpretation of the framework.) #readingframework

I’ve never bought a house before, but the process mainly seems to consist of me phoning people and asking them to please just do the jobs I’m paying them an eye-watering amount of money to do

If you cannot work from home, and can't go to work due to childcare responsibilities, then we have it confirmed this is a reason you can be furloughed. It is legal (and desirable), though not compulsory, for your employer to do it.

70,000 members on our zoom. The biggest trade union meeting ever. By a long way.

Who else will join me in challenging @GavinWilliamson to spend next week sitting, unvaccinated, in crowded classrooms next week to prove that he's convinced they're a safe environment? Please RT.

Is anyone at that awkward food stage tomorrow where you can’t be bothered to do a ‘big shop’ because in your head there’ll still be leftovers but realistically you’ve basically got sprouts and a stack of gravy left?

@LucyGriff76 Small changes to start with! Give yourself a target eg steps to make each day then when you are nailing it, up it. People make changes that are too big and can’t stick to them.

How do people make big changes with diet/exercise and stick to it? I’ve tried it all and never have a lightbulb moment for long enough to keep it up or off. Tips please people- please don’t tell me to love myself that’s not the advice I’m here for. No gym as in #tier4
