Today we were using different tools to help us with a skip counting. We first found our starting number, followed the patterning rule and wrote out each term. 🙌🏻

Seeds galore! Ss demonstrated amazing organizational skills while they sorted and counted their pumpkin seeds! Way to go 3C 🙌🏻🎃

On Monday (Halloween) the grade 3s did a pumpkin exploration activity! We estimated the # of seeds, lines, weigh, circumference and height of our pumpkins and then measured! Ss were excited to get their hands gooey in pumpkin guts! 🎃 💭

This week our grammar focused on adding the suffix -ing and noticing these were action words. We looked at the root word and noticed how it changed when adding -ing (dropping y, doubling consonants). Thanks to our WWWs ‘getting’ & ‘exciting’ for this focus!
