There is no better way to spend a Friday than forest school! We did a litter pick to make sure our forest was clean, then we made winter decorations using wood slices. We hammered in nails and wrapped coloured wool around them. We rounded off our day with toasted marshmallows
Year 3 have had a busy forest school session today, they have used a bow saw to cut some wooden discs, made dens, made insect feeders to try to attract more pollinators to our school grounds and made some artwork for the #wildpostcardproject showcasing biodiversity in our forest.
We are delighted to be Healthier Together Champions, addressing health inequalities using an innovative digital resource. Thanks @HT_NENC for working with us & the support of @EveryChildNENC Last night we were recognised with an award for this wonderful initiative @HSJ_Awards
Year 3 and 4 had a special assembly today discussing how to respect others and follow the rule of law by being able to identify hate crime. We know our actions have consequences and thought about how to help others who may be feeling unhappy with things people have said.
