RIP Alfie😥 Sad news reaching us tonight from Bedale Junior Football Club. A statement from the club read as follows - It is with great sadness that the club learned this week of the passing of our u10 player Alfie Hutchinson, who had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. We send our condolences to all Alfie's family and his many friends, many of whom have strong connections with our club. Alfie will be remembered as a smashing lad with a wonderful smile and a boy who absolutely loved football. As his mum Lou said: "heaven has gained a true angel." As a mark of our respect for Alfie and his family a one minute silence will be held before all our games this weekend.
