Grade 1/2 had so much fun making their Math Malas. We have a lot of great tasks planned for the next few weeks using this tool. Including developing a growth mindset and solving math problems! @GWSHinder thanks for the wonderful idea!

More than a bunch of dots! Ss:"I know that 3+3 is 6,and another 3+3+3 is 9, and 9+6 is 15." Ss created dot pages that we revisited to practice grouping and addition strategies. Through the lens of perspective, Ss use math talk moves to add onto and revise thinking.
