April is National Bilingual/Multilingual Learner Advocacy Month. What will you do to advocate for students?

We joined our K and 1st grade groups in a winter language production project, where we explored how people and animals adapt to the winter! We read books, discussed adaptations, went on a winter walk, and made bird feeders to help the animals in our community. ❄️ @PEBarnick

These writers have been working hard in 2nd grade! In @FaccioNancy class we worked on writing How-To’s and published them on @Seesaw. In Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Langer’s class we did a research project on animal habitats. 📝 #happeningathowell

Hispanic Heritage Month was a blast! 2nd graders and 3rd graders read bilingual books like “Family Pictures” and “Marisol McDonald Doesn’t Match” to learn about the Hispanic culture and participate in activities that celebrates our differences. #happeningathowell
