This week during assembly we learned about Ramadan. We compared some world faiths and ways that we can support our friends who are fasting. Our P6 Fairtrade committee also gave us news about their fundraising endeavours. @CorpusChristi_K #rightsrespectingschool

Last week we joined up with P7 for the RSPB’s Big Bird Watch🐦‍⬛🪺 First, we buddied up and made some bird food before placing it around our school grounds! Later, we went on a bird watch walk and spotted some amazing birds😄👀 Thank you P7 and @MissMcMillanCC @RSPBScotland

💃🕺 P3a put their skills to great use by teaching P2a the Gay Gordons in Scottish country dancing! Fantastic leadership, teamwork and lots of fun as our pupils learned together. 🎶🏴 @CorpusChristi_K

Today at assembly we explored the meaning of Compassion and how to be compassionate towards others. During “Let’s Talk” time we discussed the life of Thomas Barbardo and the impact of his work. @CorpusChristi_K #kindness

The grey Read Write Inc group have been working hard to revise tricky sounds, read books with a partner and build super sentences. Today they were able to choose suitable verbs to complete the sentence in grammar✅ @CorpusChristi_K @MrsFarrell_CCPS

P1 are straight back into the swing of things for term 3🥰 We went on a winter walk to observe God’s World in Winter❄️ We are learning to subtract in maths, we got into character with costumes in drama and are holding a sentence during Write on Track📝 @CorpusChristi_K

Helpers and Heroes in the community 🚸 We learned about road safety and the important job of a lollipop person- we even became one! We also used our iPads to explore our local community and the places within it (hospitals, police stations, post offices and more) @CorpusChristi_K

👦 Jock and the Beanstalk 🫘🌱 P7 had a fantastic time at the pantomime! 🎭 Lots of laughs, music, magic and singing 🌟

And that’s a wrap 2025 in P5! Thank you for our amazing treat of a whole school trip to the panto on Wednesday @CorpusChristi_K We all had a brilliant time! Especially when we saw our very own CC star guests make an appearance! Thanks for the menchie, P & A! 🌟
