🛑 In honour of School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week 🚶♀️🚶♀️
Last month, the Grade 5 class at Marlborough Public School participated in the Rotary Club's "One of a Kind" grant program. As part of their project, students chose to honour Joan, the local crossing guard, for her exceptional dedication and kindness.
The students presented Joan with a heartfelt thank you poster, a bouquet of flowers, a keychain, and gift cards to Tim Hortons and Dollarama. Joan’s kind and loving presence has a profound impact on our community, and we are incredibly proud of @gecdsbmariners 's Grade 5 students for their thoughtful gesture and for spreading joy and kindness within our neighborhood.

Today, our grade 5 class from @gecdsbmariners had a special guest from City Hall talk to them about the role of a city councillor. @FabioCostante, thank you for visiting us, we learned so much about your role and the importance of being involved in our community! @gecdsbpro
