Today in the #WonderfulWiesner class, we enjoyed watching the BBC live lesson as part of our #ChildrenInNeed celebrations. The children loved wearing their pyjamas to school 🏫 @FishtoftAcademy

This morning in the #WonderfulWiesner class, the children have been learning about adding and subtracting 1, 10, 100 and 1000. @MrsGray011 even let the children record their work on the tables! In the words of the children, #BestDayEver ✍️ @FishtoftAcademy

Today at @FishtoftAcademy, we had special visitors from @Rhubarbtheatre deliver an assembly about collection day ♻️🗑 The children enjoyed the performance and learnt about the impact rubbish has on wildlife #PlasticPledge

What an exciting week we have had in the #WonderfulWiesner class at @FishtoftAcademy to celebrate #NationalPoetryDay. The children have enjoyed reading and performing poems, as well as writing their own📚

Today we said farewell to Mrs Pynn who is moving on to pastures new, Mrs Emery who is starting her well earned retirement and Mrs Gray who is celebrating her promotion to Head of School @FishtoftAcademy 💐 Wishing you the best of luck, we will miss you all ❤️

We had a fantastic discussion this morning- we watched Greta Thunberg’s speech to world leaders about Climate Change and identified the persuasive features. The children will then replicate these in their own speeches for the Voyage Green Pledge 🌎 #REACH #WygateWay @emhadley1
