Year 1 have loved participating in Safer Internet day! We enjoyed helping Smartie the penguin make safe choices online and made some fantastic posters to promote the importance of online safety! 💻✅ @KinetonGreenPS

Year 1 have been fantastic mathematicians this week! 🔢✨ We’ve been working hard on addition number sentences up to 20, using a variety of resources. We enjoyed using the bead strings, base 10 and numicon!

Year 1 had some special visitors this morning! 🐾 A big thank you to the wonderful team at Guide Dogs UK. The children loved meeting the dogs and asking lots of thoughtful questions. It was a fantastic way to end our Super Senses topic! @KinetonGreenPS

Today, Year 1 we were amazing at segmenting and spelling! They worked really hard to listen carefully to each word and segment each sound. They ALL used their phonics skills brilliantly. We were so proud of their focus! @KinetonGreenPS 🌟✏️
