@ArfurSmith Im happy for you that you saw her! Still waiting to be able to see my mum, hopefully in the garden of her care home. Not seen her since March 6th. She only occasionally looked as though she remembered me back then so I doubt she will now!! Totally heartbreaking 💔 xx

Saw my mother today for the first time in 3 months. There was a fence between us and she no longer knows who I am but we sang ‘Daisy Daisy’ together and my heart broke. Thank you thank you to all the carers

@RossKemp She still has to contribute weekly to her care.She is still only 74 years old.I haven't seen her since March 6th don't know when I will see her again.If you ever do a follow up programme on Dementia, and the huge cost to families etc,id be willing to contribute as I'm so angry!

@RossKemp I can so relate to Meryl and her mum. My mum was asked to leave her 1st care home due to violent behaviour,has spent over 200k on care in past 6 years,I had to fight for over 10 months to keep her where she is now due to funding refusals, even though she was down to her last 5k.

@RossKemp This was a tough watch. My Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2013, aged 67. She deteriorated pretty quickly and was unable to take care of herself within a couple of years. Im a familiar face now, not her daughter, and she doesn't recognise the grandkids she adored! So sad💔

I didn't get to see my Grandma when she was dying. I saw my Mum at the funeral, from a distance. I saw my Dad at a distance for the first time in 14 weeks this week. I followed my instincts to keep them safe. I am so angry at and ashamed of this government.

@piersmorgan The Covid-19 updates for the past few weeks have always given the reporter a chance to respond to the answer given with a follow up question. So why NOT the reporter from the Daily Mirror who asked the questions about schools,which the panel struggled to answer? He was cut off!
