So excited to watch my daughter Emily graduate with Honours in the field of Early Childhood Education. Her long-term goal is to continue her education by enrolling in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). Way to go Em!! 🎓♥️

Our planting is complete! Each child planted their own seedling or two! Plants serve as the "third teacher," offering hands-on, sensory experiences that foster empathy, patience, and scientific inquiry. Tomatoes, cucumbers and pumpkins to add to the fun! @BernadetteOCSB 🍅🥒🎃

The weather finally cooperated and we were able to celebrate our “Owl” fathers in style! Such a fun afternoon building connections and making memories! A lovely surprise visit from Mrs. B and little Easton completed our wonderful afternoon! ☀️♥️ @BernadetteOCSB

The children LOVED planting their own tomato plant. Our garden box nourishes both bodies and minds. Growing food increases the likelihood that children will try new foods and enjoy the vegetables that we harvest. Endless opportunities for hands-on learning. 🌱♥️🌱 @BernadetteOCSB

Planting season! 🌱♥️🌱♥️ Our favourite time of the year! So excited to plant our seedlings in our Garden Box! We have chosen a wide assortment of tomato plants with hopes to engage our classification skills in the fall! Learning about varieties and their uses! 🌱 @BernadetteOCSB

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We honour the mother of Jesus who was preserved from original sin from the first moment of her own conception in her mother's womb (St. Anne). Hail Mary, full of grace 💙 @BernadetteOCSB

Our Light, Reflection and Shadow Inquiry! ☀️🌈👤♥️ Painting on a light table provided a new way to explore primary and secondary colors by observing how they combine. It allowed for creativity through manipulating paint by creating designs with their fingertips! @BernadetteOCSB

The children were very excited, as was I, to see three separate flocks of Snow Geese fly over our playground! Lots of questions about this majestic bird! We took our questions inside and learned more about the Snow Goose at our group learning time 🪿 @BernadetteOCSB
