W2A1: Things that bring us comfort include: teddy bears, pets, books, a special blanket, pictures of loved ones, music, and playing sports. These comforting things help us feel safe and grounded when life feels uncertain. #GRABoomSlowChat#GRA2024#AndThenBoom#GRABoom
W2A2: Some sts shared how they used to feel scared to walk in their neighbourhood, but after getting to know the people, they now wave to neighbours & see beauty in the cracks in the sidewalks & colourful graffiti. They said having people you trust makes things feel less scary.
@AuthorLisaFipps Wk1 A3: Students said that even though it isn't right, it's sometimes easier to ignore things that are happening around us rather than sit with the uncomfortable. One student commented that it is important to demonstrate courage over comfort.
