@disneyplus Is there an option to “resume” or “play from the beginning” that I’m missing? Asking for my kids who never watch more than the first 25 min. of a movie.

Never underestimate the power of intentional, scripted, rehearsed lessons.

First day as an instructional coach. Nervous, but mostly excited 😆. So far, here’s what I know: 1. Relationships come first 2. Listen, listen, ask questions, listen some more 3. Extend grace— on others and yourself. What would you add? @jimknight99 @JSmithIDC @netforceisma

“It was as if the school was playing an educational lottery with the lives of children— rolling the dice to see which students would receive an excellent opportunity to learn... and which would not.” -Learning by Doing

This need for equity is great— an IMPLEMENTED, viable curriculum, every teacher growing and being supported intentionally, systematically, and the being held accountable for building boulders... because EVERY child deserves the best that we have to offer!

@DeniseBearden @jimknight99 @SolutionTree @unfoldthesoul Listen, listen, listen some more. Questioning and listening not only allow you to gain an understanding of the current reality but also build relationships. Also, remember that the behaviors you model set the tone not only in a classroom but with how coaching is perceived :)

Great leaders..... -Small ego, big mission. -We before me. -A lot of love and accountability. -A lot of grace and truth. -Demanding but not demeaning. -Loving but not enabling. -Shout praise. Whisper criticism. -High standards, low tolerance for excuses.

You can learn a lot about someone based on how they respond and react to the success of others. Do your best to surround yourself with those who want to celebrate and share in your success. Keep these kinds of people close and be certain to return the favor. #life #attitude

Professional development without continuous, intentional support and reflection isn’t professional development. It’s a single session of one-way information with a hope of growth.
