Today was one of my most favorite days of the year. Gratitude bags were filled w/ special notes to colleagues throughout the last week & admin personally delivered each bag to its owner. Allows staff to share positive energy w/ others & lets me wish everyone a Happy Holiday.

Mrs. Thiele's 8th-grade STRETCH students are participating in town meetings as Loyalists, Patriots, or Neutral Colonists to decide whether to comply with, oppose, or rebel against British rule in the 1770’s #MSDR9 #BMSPatriotProud

Students in Madame Rule's French 1 class went on a spooky scavenger hunt to explore the tombs of 5 famous French people, and answer questions about them. #MSDR9 #BMSPatriotProud

Our @BernardMiddle choir students are excited sing the National Anthem with the @OakvilleTigers choir at the football game this evening, a great opportunity for our middle schoolers to experience the opportunities, awaiting them in high school #msdr9 #bmspatriotproud

After students in Mrs. Rule's Exploring World Cultures classes learned about the Guatemalan legend of the Worry Dolls, they were given the opportunity to create their own dolls, using mostly wooden clothespins and yarn. #MSDR9 #BMSPatriotProud

Ms. Schammel's 3D art class finished up their animal sculptures last Friday. Students spent over a month designing, constructing, paper mache, and painting their large-scale sculptures. #MSDR9 #BMSPatriotProud

Students in Mrs. Lueders' 8th-grade ELA classes participated in a friendly competition yesterday to review sentence structure, conjunctions, and clauses. They had 10 minutes to visit 24 sentence cards and answer a grammar-related question at each one. #MSDR9

8th Grade Students are having a tech-free Wednesday in Mrs. Lueders' ELA class today. Students went outside to play the "Shoe Game." Students used their inferencing skills to identify character traits and had fun creating a whole person just based on their shoes. #MSDR9

Students in Mrs. Brake's math class have been learning about proportional relationships in tables. Students worked together to complete a "card sort" to determine if tables showed a proportional relationship. #MSDR9 #BMSPatriotProud
