It was a very exciting day in 4th grade! Yesterday we read The Sorting Hat chapter sooo naturally today we had a sorting ceremony! We’re all very excited about our new houses! 💛🦡❤️🦁💙🦅💚🐍

We got tickets for the Hogwarts Express and went through Platform 9 3/4 before reading chapter 6 of Harry Potter today!

@stephcifuentes How do you think she’ll react when I tell the class about how sometimes friends borrow things and then burry them and you don’t get a replacement for 20+ years? Because that somehow always comes up each year 😉 But seriously though, ❤️❤️❤️

The strangest thing happened… we came back from recess to find that an owl had delivered Hogwarts letters! (Especially surprising because I guess they’re making an exception about the age requirement!) ⚡️🦉✉️✨ “I got into Hogwarts?! Let’s gooo!”

Happy pi day! We made pi cities by graphing the first few digits of pi, enjoyed not one but TWO read alouds from @MrWoodMath1, and completed a think outside the box. (Zoom in to see the creativity!!)
