Arthur & I arrived safely in Bermuda. My landlord is an actual angel on earth & my neighbours are a delight. I popped into work today, where I was treated with hugs from colleagues, including SLT. They treated me with such warmth and were genuinely pleased to see me. #adventures

Earlier in the year, I reached to to @TeamRE_UK to see if anyone had a unit on ‘Is religion a power for peace or a cause of conflict in the world today?’ It seemed there was little out there so we made our own new unit and resources…

@HughJRichards Having a very similar debate. Pupils enjoy the Nazis so we thought about putting it last, but no sources/interpretations practice until Y11 (but obs would build in to earlier units). I like putting thematic next to America to nail those qu types. Difficult!

I'm thinking about re-sequencing GCSE. America is our trickiest unit. At first, we left it to the end so they would be older when they tackled it. But by moving it to end of Y10, there is more chance to revise it and feed back on practices in Y10 exam and Y11 mocks. Thoughts?

Now that our PSHE curriculum and resources have been through a full year’s cycle, I’ve started making booklets. Tonight’s booklet making was a year 7 relationships one to go with our lessons.
