A year ago while on maternity leave I decided I needed to start something to keep my brain active. While teaching and a one year old keep me insanely busy these days, I’m proud I made it a year of practicing a little bit of Spanish each day!

For years during our engineering unit I’ve told my students I know a rocket scientist, but soon I’ll be able to say I know someone who has been to space and may have to add him to our “changemaker” unit! Congrats, Chris!!!

The Lenape didn’t have electricity, so we decided today’s power outage came at the perfect time to make our Lenape village presentations to 2nd grade even more realistic!

To say Sarge was a huge hit in 3rd grade today is an understatement!

Thanks @CenterGrovePTO for bringing the Tanglewood Marionettes back to CG! The students loved their performance of The Dragon King today!

While at @erica_rossmann ‘s class on Friday, I realized the last time I went to reading buddies my current students were the kindergarteners! It felt wonderful to be back together.

Our class has been learning all about the moon! The students have spent the last few days researching a phase and then we put it on a big page with all the moon phases. To end our week, we made the phases of the moon out of Oreos. Great way to end our Friday! #randolphschools
