I just assigned my seniors their research project, which is to research a current issue/problem either in the United States or globally, and my heart is full watching their proposals flood in. They’re so much more aware than I was and give me so much hope!

So I’ve been feeling like a bad 👩🏻‍🏫 lately. The learning curve of teaching a new subject w/older ss is just hitting hard this week. But today, a s says “I have something for you”&hands me this pin bc she knows I love BB’s & I just melted. They make me want to try harder every day.

Practicing what I preach/teach. On Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, we’ve been doing these PIES self check-ins to process how we’re feeling in all aspects of our beings and what actions we can take to help ourselves feel better.

Going to miss these two so much! @MrsMillerMPMS @MsOrozco2 are awesome elective teachers that I couldn’t have made it through this year without! Good luck and best wishes! 🖤💛🥳
