The Mosaic volunteers at Deerbrook Skilled Nursing are happy to work with the residents on their mobility and the residents appreciate it so much 🤍 @HumbleISD @HumbleISD_CAM @HumISD_Mosaic

Mosaic students called and made their doctor appointments. Now, it’s time to complete patient intake forms INDEPENDENTLY. These young adults are on their way to taking care of the healthcare completely on their own 👏🏽 @HumbleISD @HumbleISD_CAM @HumISD_Mosaic

💛Working at the nursing home brings joy to the residents, but it also allows students to lead recreational activities, have reciprocal conversations, and even deal with unhappy “customers.” Transferable job skill practice at its best🥳 @HumbleISD @HumbleISD_CAM @HumISD_Mosaic

“Mom, can I take my bed? The kitchen table? My dresser? The couch?” NOPE! Pricing furniture for our first apartment was eye opening! Working full time and having a plan for saving for each item over time is the way to go👍🏻 @HumbleISD @HumbleISD_CAM @HumISD_Mosaic
