Back to school training looks a little different this year. Already missing Hays, but grateful for the opportunity to work remote! Hoping for an amazing year at TVAH.

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Tillman! As a Hays Assistant Principal since the building opened, she's taken great care of the students & staff. As she begins her new role of Special Education Coordinator, we know that her expertise & big heart will be a great asset to PISD. Ca-Caw!

@MrsReedSPED I'm not "liking" this because you are leaving. I'm loving this because of the new life experience you are about to embark on. You are going to be an amazing mama and I am so excited for you!

2 weeks left of school and also 2 weeks left at Hays for me. I’ve made the bittersweet decision to leave in person teaching for a bit. I will be working as a Special Education Compliance Specialist for StrideK12, partnered with a virtual academy. Here’s to a new adventure!

🔔 Warning, long-ish post. Stay with me, only a few more days I promise! 😉😉 Good evening, Prosper ISD, As early voting begins, I want to take a moment to share my heart with you. Serving this community for the past three years has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life. It’s been more challenging than I expected—but the things that matter most usually are. I may see the role of a trustee a bit differently than some. While we all understand the responsibilities set by the state—setting the tax rate, adopting the budget, overseeing the superintendent, and keeping the public informed—I believe how we carry out those duties matters just as much. I’ve always approached this role with a desire to be part of a cohesive, forward-thinking board—one that works collaboratively, asks tough questions, and always keeps students at the center. And while most of the time we do move in a common direction, there have been moments where I’ve had to pause and ask: What is the right thing to do here—not just what’s easy or expedient? In those moments, I’ve done my best to choose principle over convenience and the long-term good over short-term comfort. There was certainly a learning curve, and through everything our board has experienced together, I’ve grown. Each challenge, conversation, and decision has prepared me to serve in a second term with even more focus, wisdom, and resolve—ready to lead on day one. I believe our community values honesty, transparency, and trustees who lead with conviction and humility. I believe our staff and teachers want that too. I believe that striking the right balance between support, accountability, and compassion is how we continue delivering the unlimited opportunities our students deserve. Over the past few months, I’ve received countless private messages of encouragement from staff who asked that their support remain confidential. I deeply respect that—but I also believe we must continue building a culture where every voice feels safe, valued, and heard. To our teachers, staff, administrators, students, and families—please know this: I hear you. I see you. And I am committed to continuing to show up for you, just as I have every day for the past three years. I will continue advocating for you, supporting our district leadership, and helping navigate challenges with thoughtfulness, integrity, and care. We don’t ignore our problems—we address them head-on so that we can keep moving forward. Because that’s the only way we continue delivering on the promise of what makes Prosper ISD so special. This district is bigger than any one individual. It thrives because of the people who pour into it daily—our educators, staff, families, and students. I love this district. I believe in its future. And I am ready to keep working for you. If this message resonates with you—if you believe in servant leadership, community-driven decision-making, and putting kids first—then I humbly ask for your vote for re-election. Love you Prosper ISD 💚🩵💙💜 -Garrett
