Had the privilege of watching stage 2 & 3 students actually reading and implementing upon feedback given by their teachers in a writing lesson this week.

I noticed and praised a yr 6 student who had credited some of her images in a presentation. When I returned later, she had removed the photo credit stating ‘it’s just a photo, it doesn’t need it’. How would you approach this unethical breach of intellectual property? #ACUedu_p

Saw one of my CP Ss for the 1st time in 5 months today. (Been his SLSO since 2019). This arvo his Mum said “he’s been so upset all week because he thought you’d left the school” (I was on prac T2 w7-w10 then WFH T3). Never forget your impact, you are not forgotten! 🥰 #ACUedu_p

EDFD689's lecture content resonates with me today, I'm still working on finding this balance myself. Very much looking forward to time away from my computer and finishing up this semesters assignments in time to enjoy December. #ACUedu_p

My school is thinking about changing from magic words to open sight words next year. I think it’s a fabulous idea as the new system will match quite well with the PM benchmarking system we already have in place for reading. Bonus points: It’s free #ACUedu_p
