@sassmouther I lost 30 pounds over two schools. I never weighed myself. I only know because the gynecologist mentioned it and wanted to know what I did. I knew I was losing because my clothes were getting big but I took away anything that could stress me out. (Scales and measuring tapes)

I’m trying to decide how I want to do this weight loss round. To me, seeing the numbers becomes a little obsessive and I start getting angry at myself if I’m not losing the way I want. So I’m thinking maybe I’ll only weigh every other week & take measurements once a month?

Smartest thing I heard from a supt recently: As part of reopening planning, arrange a simulated school day (or even 1/2 day) for key stakeholders (supt, bd, union pres, etc) to "attend" school under draft plan. From bus to class to bathroom, walk in their shoes b4 deciding.

Cuz doing adult things shouldn’t be a part of summer. The laundry can wait. We can eat frozen pizza for dinner. Brother and sister memories last long than an evening.

@sassmouther I am from Michigan and that is a graduation party staple!!! I moved to Iowa and no one had ever seen it before. They thought it was fancy food. I was a hit at the potlucks.

My high school home ec teacher used to make taco salad all mixed in a bowl with catalina dressing on it. Sometimes I just really crave that. So I made it for dinner last night & lunch today. It’s so so good

@sassmouther The in between is the worst and no one understands that struggle. I have switched to all solid color tops and bottoms that I mix and match. This way I don’t have to worry about brand or size. Sometimes I am in a sm top from Walmart and an XL jcrew bottom.

@heartless_pe I sent mine to bed at 8:45p. At 9:45p he came out so I could listen to an Eminem song. He yelled at me and stormed to bed, throwing the tablet in the sofa next to me, when I said, “it is 9:45p.”

Is it my kids bedtime yet? Cuz today has been brutal. Little man is a walking tantrum and 4 has been difficult all day too.
