Today we declared it would be a rainbows and sunshine 🌈 ☀️ kind of day! Students’ faces lit up this morning while getting off the buses to see our fun costumes and us dancing to joyful music! What a great way to start everyone’s day! #NCPistheplacetobe

We had a little fun on September 30, for national to a piece of gum day. We had a competition to see which staff member could blow the biggest bubble. Here is our first and second place winners! And a little reminder to have some fun this schoo year! #ncpistheplacetobe

Open house looked a little different this year! Al excited to start my admin journey and tonight was a success! I’m working with such wonderful people- which is an awesome bonus!

I was once told by an administrator that I smiled too much. I wasn’t supposed to smile or they’d never take me serious. I smiled anyways because my smile could have been the only one these kids saw in their day. Now that I’m an administrator I thought this theme would be perfect!

What a great group of kids! I’m going to miss them so much! It was an emotional day, as it’s my last year teaching and my birthday! I couldn’t have asked to spend this year and my birthday with better kiddos!

Making memories 💜 Camp Read A Lot transformation is going amazing today! One of my favorite days of the year. We are some s’mores, are reading around our “fire”, played would you rather, and read a camping story!

Doing our water balloons for iReady growth party, one last time! One of my most favorite days of the year, and I’m going to miss this so much 💜

We used the engineer and design process to create peep rafts for the peeps they adopted last week. Students took care of their peeps for a week, and then had to create a raft using certain supplies to protect their peeps from getting wet!

If you don’t play April Fools pranks on your students, you’re missing out! Today they took a funny spelling test, learned about harvesting marshmallows, harvesting spaghetti, and flying penguins. They each then received a brown e (brownie). No worries, I gave them a real brownie!
