Last Friday, we read Alma & The Worry Stone. We talked about how we can be brave and take control of our fears just like Alma. We made worry stones to hold when we need to be brave and take control of our fears. Our stones turned out great!! @SLCSDolsen

Today, we read “Our Class is a Family” and talked about how we can work together to make our learning community great. We made a promise to stick together like a family should. To seal the promise, we made bracelets. @SLCSDolsen

During today’s Pod meeting, first grade Ss discussed many different ways to show acts of kindness. Holding the door for someone, helping a friend pick up their things, giving someone a compliment were just a few examples. Can you show a random act of kindness today? @SLCSDolsen
