Yesterday we participated in the Stony Brook Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic! Students were engaged learning about injury prevention and role playing as medical staff for their stuffed animals. #weareHB @HamptonBaysES @MissSavino

Mrs. Scott and Ms. Savino's 2nd grade class studied nonfiction information about bats. We learned a lot about these interesting nocturnal animals!🦇 🌙 #weareHB @HamptonBaysES @MissSavino

Ms.Savino's and Mrs. Scott's class learned about affirmations. We learned how to say positive things about ourselves and learned about the amazing things we are. Now our classroom has an affirmation station to remind us of the great things we are. @HamptonBaysES @MrsScottgrade1

In our 1st grade class we read the story Spookley the Square pumpkin. We learned about story elements & talked about the setting, characters & our favorite part. From Spookley, we learned that being different is a beautiful thing. @HamptonBaysES @MrsScottgrade1
