Book Fair starts tomorrow! Viewing with Mr. Marchese in the library 🤩 which new titles are you looking for? Manga? Graphic Works? Non-Fiction? Picture Books? Biographies? The book fair has it all!

This is what donations to the maker space can become! Thank you for sending your donations of reusable items and extra building and art materials to school!

Mr. Pappas and Ms. McGougan’s classes used materials from home and the Maker Space to create Christmas villages! This was a cross curricular math, stem, art and collaborative project. Here they are showing off their hard work to up and coming creators!

I am super excited to reveal these to the students tomorrow! Who will be the first person to borrow these titles?!?! They have ‘new book smell’ 🥰🥰🥰

Our Maker Space is still in need of some items: colouring books, play doh, cotton balls, popsicle sticks of various sizes, or any craft items that you no longer need at home. No purchase necessary. If you have items you cannot use, please drop them off at the school. Many thanks

The library has undergone (another) transformation! Making space for all the great books I’ve added to our collection. Our Manga collection is growing, our romance books are being reviewed and our budding readers are exploring chapter books for the first time!

@Mr_Caronzo @VeteransENG_CA One of the kinders saw this art in the library and said “ms Selvaggi this is beautiful”. Well done.

This week students used the @VeteransENG_CA resource to learn about dozens of stories of courage, loss and bravery. The class also created Remembrance Day art, with an emphasis on shading. Lest We Forget. Remember Them. Always. 🙏🏼🌺✝️
